Welcome to Roots Dental, the family unit and general dental practice of Dr. Jacob Kaufman. We're excited to serve the Rockwood and surrounding communities. Dr Jacob Kaufman , DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Jacob Kaufman grew upward in Newberg, Oregon. He spent a twelvemonth in Minnesota where he wrestled for the Gold Gophers before returning home to finish his undergraduate education at Oregon State University. Afterward OSU, Dr. Kaufman earned his DMD at Oregon Health and Science Academy, where he served as class president. Dr. Kaufman is passionate about making patients experience comfortable in the dental role. His focus is to create a dental home for his patients where they can accomplish their dental goals.

Dr. Kaufman lives near the Roots Dental Role with his Partner Jan, and their two dogs Dillard (afterward Damian Lillard) & Olive. He loves to become outdoors backpacking and camping ground. On the weekends yous'll likely find him at a concert listening to live music in Portland.

Dr. Kaufman enjoys the variety of full general dentistry, helping patients achieve oral health, and improving smiles. He is devoted to honing his craft through continuing education and regularly takes CE courses equally member of Spear Education. Dr. Kaufman loves providing loftier quality dental care to his local community.

Dental Hygienist

Aye was built-in in Thailand and moved to Oregon when she was 13 years old. She is from a large family unit with 8 siblings. She loves to become on vacation, enjoy the amazing food in Portland and spending fourth dimension with family and friends. She is very passionate about helping patients achieve their hygiene and overall oral health goals. And being supportive with patients to overcome dental fears or concerns. A quote that Yes likes to become by "Cipher you clothing is more important than your grin".

Administrator/Treatment Coordinator

Angela was born and raised mostly in Oregon spending a little flake of her childhood in California. Angela is a mother to 4 children that are amazing and her pride and joy. She loves to go hiking and enjoy the outdoors. Angela has a passion for Latin dancing, specially with her husband. She loves to help people and a large believer that cocky-care is of import and everyone deserves to feel skillful about themselves inside and out.

Malisa

Dental Assistant

Melissa was born and raised in St.Helens Oregon. She relocated to central Oregon where she has lived for the past 23 years. She became a mother of iii fabulous children. She also has a granddaughter who calls her "Gigi". Outside of the dental office you can discover Malisa cheering for her kids from the sidelines at their sporting events, baking, cooking, shopping, camping and scrapbooking/crafting. Melissa is passionate about dentistry and makes information technology a priority to make every patient comfortable and have the best dental experience.

Fun Fact: Malisa is addicted to the Iced Skinny Triple Shot Caramelizer.

Ruben

Dental Assistant

Ruben was born and raised in Portland Oregon. He is the second oldest to three siblings, two brothers and one sister. Ruben outside of the dental part likes to play soccer and play video games. He got into dentistry and attended Carrington with his cousin every bit they both became dental assistants. He is excited to abound his cognition and skills with Dr.Kaufman at Roots Dental.

Fun Fact: Ruben was in one case stung by a scorpion when visiting Mexico.
